MANAGEMENT OF HYROBIOLOGICAL RESOURCES IN THE ITENEZ BASIN (2014-2017) (supported by WWF-Bolivia)

In recent years FAUNAGUA has been actively supporting the development of new approaches for the management of protected areas in Bolivia. Actions were carried out in the Noel Kempff Mercado National Park (NKM) , ANMI Iténez Departmental Park, ANMI Otuquis National Park, Tunari National Park and Manuripi Amazon Wildlife Natural Reserve (RNVSA) , among others.

The management of protected areas, comprehensive watershed management (ICM) , territorial management of communities, governance of natural resources, comprehensive management of water resources (IWRM) , … are the focuses of the work carried out.

With this program, FAUNAGUA contributes to the Aichi goals.
